Writing Prompts Taking Place

As you guys know, I am currently working on the website for my blog, podcast, etc. But it bugged me to leave this as just a donation page, when Buy Me a Coffee has so many amazing features, plus they keep adding updates too.

So I just couldn’t just leave it sitting here, yes I was leaving my old blog post up on here, but I wanted to do more with it. Not something big, but something to give me a reason to play with it. I’ve been using this for a year and a half now.

What could I add that would not eat up time, be short and fun for me and still create some type of value for you guys? And then it hit me, especially going each week through other writers’ prompts.

I love the idea of creating random story prompts for writers to help get them out of writer’s block or dealing with Depression.

Too many times, I have felt stuck in one place with my writing. I’ve escaped playing video games, watching movies and Youtube. Reading other books and manga having this sense of inadequacy. But whenever I pull myself back into my writing, I am reminded how surreal my worlds can drag me into.

Some of that was with the help of writing prompts online, but most didn’t really resonate with how weird I am or how weird my writing can get. And so to make a long story short, I will create free writing prompts for whoever is in the deep pits of writer’s block or depression, hopefully this can shine a light to your work in the future, thanks for reading till next time !!!
